Before fight night
How do I get on a Monster Promotions card?
Fill out our Fighter Application. Our matchmakers review every application and reach out when there's a match for you.
What do I need to turn in before my fight?
Your medical forms, registration form and walkout music. Fighters 16 and over also need bloodwork. Everything is due 7 days before weigh-in and gets emailed to mike@monsterpromotions.org. Download the forms on our Required Forms page.
When are weigh-ins?
Weigh-ins are always the day before the event. Times vary for each event.
Is there a pound allowance at weigh-ins?
No. There is no pound allowance. You must weigh in at or under your agreed weight.
What is the youngest age that can fight?
Fighters must be at least 6 years old.
What happens if my opponent drops out?
We'll do everything we can to find you a replacement opponent.

Rules and gear
What rule set do you use?
Every fight is Traditional Amateur Rules Muay Thai, elbows included, whether you have 0 fights or 100. This applies to all ages.
What gear do I have to wear?
Fighters under 18 wear full gear: headgear, elbow pads, gloves and shin guards. Adult fights are no headgear. Adult title fights are elbow pads only.
Do you provide gear?
We provide gloves, shin guards and elbow pads. Fighters under 18 must bring their own headgear.
Do I need to bring my own hand wraps?
No. Monster Promotions provides tape and gauze to wrap your hands, sponsored by Victory Tape.

Corners and tickets
How many corner passes does my team get?
It depends on how many fighters your team has on the card:1 fighter2 passes (3 for a championship fight)2 to 4 fighters4 passes5 to 8 fighters5 passesCorners don't need tickets. They get special corner passes.
Do fighters get free tickets?
No. Fighters don't get free tickets. Fighters sell tickets to their family, friends and fans through our ticket site.

Titles, pay and media
How do I fight for a title?
Title fights are offered to fighters in the United States with at least 10 fights and a winning record. Very dominant fighters with under 10 fights who have fought on our cards before may also be offered a title shot. See our current champions.
Do amateur fighters get paid?
No. Amateur fighters are not paid.
Do you pay for travel and hotels?
In most cases, no. In certain situations our matchmakers may offer travel.
Can my photographer get a media pass?
No. We have our own professional photographers. Your friends and family are welcome to bring cameras and shoot from the crowd.
Will the event be on pay-per-view?
Yes. Every Monster Promotions event is available on PPV. Watch Teeps for Tatas 2 live on October 10.
